Dr. Reghan Foley
Dr. Foley is an Investigator at the Neuromuscular and Neurogenetic Disorders of Childhood Section at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States. She specializes in pediatric neuromuscular diseases, with a research focus on congenital muscular dystrophies. Dr. Foley began her clinical research work in pediatric neuromuscular trials during a fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and later trained as a Clinical Research Fellow at the UCL Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Since joining the NIH in 2014, she has led efforts to study the natural history of collagen VI-related myopathies through international collaboration. Her work aims to accelerate progress toward clinical trials and improved therapies for rare neuromuscular conditions.
