Dr. Stefano Carlo Previtali

Dr. Previtali is the group leader of the Neuromuscular Repair Research Unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, Italy, where he also leads the clinical neuromuscular activity. He is the principal investigator (PI) of several phase I, II, and III clinical trials for neuromuscular disorders, working with both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Previtali is deeply involved in scientific communities, serving as a board member of several prestigious societies, including the Peripheral Nerve Society (PNS), World Muscle Society (WMS), Italian Peripheral Nerve Society (ASNP), and the Italian Myology Society. He is also a PI board member of the European Reference Network for Neuromuscular Disorders (EURO-NMD).

In addition to his research and clinical work, Dr. Previtali collaborates with various patient associations, charities, and companies. He is Professor of Neurology at San Raffaele Vita-Salute University, contributing to the academic and clinical education of future medical professionals.
