Provisional Programme

The conference will start Friday afternoon (March 27, 2026) and will end on Sunday morning (March 29, 2026).

There will be 6 sessions, which will be interrupted by joint coffee breaks and lunches (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) around the company booths, and dinner outside the venue (Friday, Saturday) to be able to interact and create fruitful collaborations among those involved in therapy development for LAMA2-RD.

In session 1-3, young scientists (from clinics, universities or companies) will be stimulated to present their work, as they represent the future for LAMA2-RD research. In session 4, world-renown experts will address topics, requested by the patients. Session 5 will have an open, informal character to stimulate engagement between the patients and their representatives and scientists, clinicians and company representatives. This will include international online involvement for those not able to be present onsite. Session 6 will address the regulatory paths, needed to keep the costs of therapy development low to make it broadly accessible for the patients who need it. This will require a joint address of scientists, clinicians and patients toward regulatory authorities.

For the children, a playground will be organized, allowing them to have fun with patients from other countries.
